2004 Honda Rune- Local Private Party Acquisition, I just acquired this bike from the previous owner who was the definition of a Motorcycle Aficionado. This 2004 Honda Rune is a limited-production motorcycle based on the contemporary Valkyrie. It is powered by a 1,832cc SOHC flat-six paired with a five-speed transmission, Equipment includes a digital instrument display, LED taillights, a black solo seat, a trailing-link fork, a Unit Pro-Link linkage and mono-shock, a single-sided swingarm, an enclosed driveshaft, triple Nissin disc brakes, electronic fuel injection, and a six-into-two exhaust system. The bike is finished in Double Clearcoat Black and features an aluminum twin-spar frame, a black solo seat, a 6.1-gallon fuel tank, a chrome engine guard, and a side stand. The lighting package is comprised of dual headlights housed in a triangular color-keyed bucket with a chrome visor in addition to chrome turn signals and a pair of vertical LED taillight strips incorporated into the rear fender. The 18" and 17" chrome five-spoke wheels are mounted with new tires. Suspension consists of a chrome-finished trailing-link fork along with a remote-reservoir mono-shock that is attached to the single-sided swingarm via a Unit Pro-Link linkage. The chrome handlebar carries matching controls, grips, and mirrors. A digital screen housed in a chrome console atop the fuel tank displays a speedometer, a fuel-level readout, and a pair of trip meters. The liquid-cooled 1,832cc SOHC flat-six features two valves per cylinder, electronic fuel injection, and a chrome six-into-two exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 118 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a hydraulically actuated clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a driveshaft enclosed within the swingarm. I have both keys along with books/manuals.
