Why Rolling Stock...?
Having spent my entire life working in the retail
automobile industry it has given me the opportunity to listen and learn what
people like and dislike about buying a vehicle. I have even had customers
equate the buying process to getting a root canal (YIKES). We all know buying a
vehicle can be very stressful, and even with the internet providing so much
information it can throw you into sensory overload. The one common theme I hear
is that we don’t like dealing with Salespeople, Sales Managers or the Finance
Manager…We just want someone to answer our questions without feeling pressured.
Ultimately, we want a Trusted Advisor who can guide us through a simplified
experience.
I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside
several great mentors in my career learning some very valuable lessons that
have brought me to this new chapter of life with the opening of Rolling Stock
Specialty Auto Sales. The concept of Rolling Stock is to provide personalized
service with a simplified process. Our business model is unique to this market
whereas all vehicles are housed inside a climate controlled warehouse in the
Middletown Industrial Park and available for your preview online with high quality
HD pictures along with extensive descriptions and history. All vehicles have
been hand selected as if I were buying them for myself. If we don’t have the
exact vehicle you are looking for, no problem! My vast network of contacts
permits me to acquire it for you. Ok now for the good part… No
salespeople. You will deal directly with me as your Trusted Advisor and
I will make this one of the most enjoyable experiences you’ve ever had.
Rolling Stock has been on my mind for several
years, and with the encouragement and support from friends and family I had the
opportunity to sit back with a white board and ask the question, “If I
started a new automotive sales operation, what would I do different?” Well,
first we had to eliminate the pain points you all have told us you disliked and
provide a high level of service without excessive layers of personnel and
expenses.
Folks often ask where I came up with the name
Rolling Stock. For years friends would ask if I played the stock market and I
would always answer, “Oh yeah I keep my money in Rolling Stock. Follow me!” I
would take them to my garage and say, “My Stock has wheels and they are
always Rolling.”
