1950 Chevrolet StyleLine Business Coupe- Local Acquisition, Custom High Dollar Build by Spitzer Concepts in Indianapolis Indiana. I recently acquired this vehicle from the Widow of a very dear lifelong friend. This was his dream and passion to build the Ultimate 1950 Chevy and when you see this car in person it will take your breath away. Over 4 years and 6500 billed fabrication hours have resulted in this Masterpiece known in the Custom Automotive World as the Legendary "Nifty Fifty". This car has been featured in numerous publications and has won many National Titles. It all started when my friend Buzzy Dobbins commissioned Mike Spitzer at Spitzer Concepts to take on this project and it resulted in a multi year project and close friendship between the two Gentlemen. The vehicle has a custom fabricated 2x4 tube frame and rear axle housing with a Mark Williams center section and axles. Custom built upper and lower control arms with Afco coil over shocks front and rear. All rear end components are chrome, 6 piston Willwood front and rear disc brakes with Flaming River Power Steering. The wheels are custom fabricated Billet Specialties 18" front 20" rear. The engine is a 572 625hp Chevrolet Crate with a 6-speed G Force transmission. It also has MSD Distributor, Quick Fuel Carburetor and C&R Custom fabricated radiator. The hood and decklid are Carbon Fiber as well as inner fender panels. The top is chopped 3", the roof is pancaked 1.5", front windshield post is laid back 1.5", rear roof and rear glass have also been laid forward 1". Door post and door openings along with doors have been reshaped also. Front and rear and rear tire openings have been flared. The hood was pie cut from 0 to 1.5", the nose was reshaped. All carbon fiber panels were custom fabricated by Spitzer also. The custom grill was fabricated from a 1954 Corvette grill. The front and rear bumpers along with the turn signal housings were also custom made. The headlight rims were donated from a 1956 Buick and the tail lights were borrowed from a 1949 Ford. The car also has a NASCAR style 20 gallon fuel cell. The custom interior was also quite the undertaking and was fabricated by Darrin Cutter of Cutter's Custom Stitchin and might just be one of the finest you will ever see. The leather is from Garret Leather and is the Avion type, color is Canyon and imported from Italy. The carpet is Mercedes Benz Loop in Cinnamon, seat belts are from Juliano's in Copper. The headliner is called English Heavy Weight Wool Broadcloth in Black. Please pay close attention to the custom fabricated metal trim work and the awesome trunk detail. The cost to duplicate this vehicle today would exceed well over $1 Million Dollars. I have receipts, magazine publications and marketing material included in the sale. I've tried my best to give you a detailed overview of this awesome vehicle although I'm sure you may have additional questions so feel free to contact me directly Cary Donovan Owner Rolling Stock Specialty Auto 502-396-5445
